Spinning high-quality sounds, Jonathan Simon, aka DJ Gatsby, has successfully mesmerized club, corporate, wedding, and special event audiences all over New York City and the east coast spanning from Boston to Miami.  In 2005 as a Cornell graduate student, he received turntables for his birthday manifesting his dreams into reality enabling him to share his love of music with the world.

After leaving the corporate world to pursue his passion of DJing on a full-time basis in September 2008, he has been able to garner an impressive resume spinning at clubs such as: The Gates, Hudson Terrace, M2 Lounge, Sushi Samba, The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and Tillman's Live; a resident in-store DJ at retailers such as: Hugo Boss, Armani Exchange, French Connection, True Religion, and Adidas; corporate clients such as: Microsoft, Bloomberg, and Mercer. Charities such as: I Am Birthright Israel, Broadway Cares, Play4Life, and The Young Professionals Council for Choice; amassing a large wedding clientele base and spinning at venues such as: Lincoln Center, The Plaza Hotel, The National Hotel South Beach, Cipriani's, Marriot Marquis Time Square, National Arts Club and the NYU Torch Club.

Gatsby’s sound repertoire is a unique blend of sounds ranging from high-energy beats to chill and aesthetic tracks to fit any crowd or special occasion.  It is his passion for enhancing any space with sound, and a belief that there is an appropriate musical soundtrack for any time or place.
